Christine Liu

I attended Shanghai Normal University in China. I had taught elementary and kindergarten in my internship. I got my bachelor of Science in Computer Science from SJSU after I moved to US. I had worked in various high tech companies. I enjoy teaching and also building relationship with kids ever since I became a mother of two. I have been working in IFY as an afterschool teacher for over 5 years now. I am honored to have you trust me with your kids! Let us work together to help our kids succeed!​

我在中国就读上海师范大学外语系。在学校期间，曾教过小学和幼稚园。来美后，我获得了圣荷西州立大学电脑系的学士学位。曾在不同的大小高科技公司上班。我又重新喜欢上教孩子和花时间与孩子建立关系是在我有两个孩子以后。我在爱飞扬课辅已经做了超过五年。喜欢和孩子们在一起，了解每个孩子的特殊性，帮助他们在学业和品格上一起成长。谢谢您对我的信任! 希望我们一起努力来帮助我们的孩子成功!

Lynn Jiing

My name is Lynn Hemhauser Jiing and I will be one of the teachers for the K/G1 class this school year at IFY After School. I was born in Los Angeles and have spent many years in Taiwan and Thailand. I have had the opportunities to travel overseas quite a bit whilst experiencing other cultures. I moved to Fremont four and a half years ago after I married my husband Alvan Jiing. I am a mom to my two fur babies, Tofu and Wasabi. I have been working with Children since I graduated with a degree in Liberal Arts from Notre Dame University, in South Bend, IN. I have been teaching ESL students ranging from K1 to high school in Taiwan for 9 years. I have a passion for teaching children and a burden to influence our next generation. I love spending my time with the kiddos that I have the pleasure of teaching and watching them discover, succeed, and learn new skills as well as building friendship with every child in class. When I’m not working, you’ll find me with an e-book in my hands or dancing at church. I look forward to this wonderful year at IFY. We are going to have so much FUN learning together!

Nathan Lin

Hi my name is Nathan Lin and I'm currently a college student. My role at IFY is a "floating" teacher assistant for both classes (小班 and 大班) and will be supporting the teachers in their daily activities as well as other miscellaneous tasks! I have many years of experience working with kids (still learning), and have tutored at elementary schools, volunteered at IFY and DCA (Daniel Christian Academy), which is right next door, and taught at Sunday School at FRCC! I love kids and their energy and am looking forward to working with them this school year!
